Check your Move-In Bulletin for show hours and any special events that exhibitors would be interested in. Also, make sure to grab a copy of the Show Daily each morning to have all of the hot information on your show and what is coming up for that day.
Make sure that you have read all the show rules and regulations that are located in your exhibitor guide before the show. Understand what the regulations are on sound, food & beverage, and raffles in your booth. These rules vary by state and convention hall, so make sure that you are up to date for your current show. Also, be sure to respect your neighboring booths and make sure that none of your booth is impeding on their space or sound from your booth is disrupting another booth.
Show management is only responsible for vacuuming the aisles and emptying the common garbage cans in the aisles. If you wish to have your booth vacuumed and garbage cans emptied each night, you will need to order cleaning service through the exclusive general service contractor. You can do this before you leave for the show through your Exhibitor Manual.
If you have a problem with any of your rental items during the show, please proceed to the service center. All vendors will have their service desks open from move-in until the end of move-out. If you are having a problem with another booth on the show floor, please contact your Floor Manager or Show management immediately; do not take it into your own hands.
You are allowed to hold meetings/receptions in your booth before or after show hours. You will need to send a letter to show management before the show requesting permission. If your meeting is to be over 10 people, you will need to hire a security guard for the duration of the event. You can handle this through the official show security contractor. Forms for meetings in your booth can be found in your Exhibitor Manual.
Reed Exhibitions employs the best security company in each city, however there is never a 100% guarantee against theft at a show. It is important that no one in your booth ever leaves wallets, purses, laptops, or other electronic devices unattended during show hours or after the show closes. Anything that you can carry should be taken out with you each night.
Out of respect for other exhibitors trying to conduct business in their booth, you should not enter another exhibitor booth space without invitations, especially if the booth space in vacant!
Reed Exhibitions does not allow exhibitors to breakdown from a show early. If you have an emergency and need to leave the show, please contact your Floor Manager to discuss what your options are for your booth space.
